AT Home in Zville: A Cozy New Chapter
When I first imagined what it would mean to create a business that blends simplicity, coziness, and organization, I knew it had to be personal. AT Home in Zville is more than just a new venture for me—it’s the culmination of my love for organization and my belief that your home should feel cozy and comfortable.
Building on My Experience
The journey to launching AT Home in Zionsville has been unfolding for years. I still remember my freshman year in college when my roommate would bring people into our dorm just to see my organized closet—clothes sorted by color and season, with everything neatly stored in whatever containers I could find. Even back then, I was helping classmates organize their spaces, often so they could locate misplaced items!
Over the years, I’ve refined these skills through roles in organizing, design, and project management, each emphasizing creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail. AT Home is the result of all those lessons, combined with my personal passion for creating spaces that bring joy and simplicity to everyday living.
Real Life, Real Homes
I understand perfect—it’s part of my role as a stager to create flawless scenes for photos: perfectly fluffed pillows, labels facing just the right way, every detail in place. But once someone enters the room, that level of perfection is hard, if not impossible, to sustain.
.As much as I enjoy scrolling through perfectly curated home organization pages, I know real life rarely looks like that. Many homes don’t have expansive walk-in closets or pantries—take my 1960s-built house, for example. And even if they do, the demands of daily life make it nearly impossible to maintain a picture-perfect aesthetic all the time. And that’s okay! The goal isn’t perfection; it’s about creating spaces that functional for where you are in life.
Aside from a select few photos here and there, most of the photos you’ll see on my website, blog, and social media pages will not be picture-perfect. First, I’m not a professional photographer, or even a really good one. And second, that’s not reality. Once the photos are taken, the umbrella sticking out of place will go back in, and ALL the bags of chips will be added to the basket. I want to share everyday life, not photography.
The Inspiration Behind the Brand
AT Home’s tagline, “Simple. Cozy. Organized.,” reflects the heart of the brand. To me, a well-designed home doesn’t just look good—it feels good. And simple doesn’t have to mean minimalist. While I’m always aiming to reduce clutter (my frequent Goodwill drop-offs can attest to that!), my own home is far from minimalist. What I do have are organizational tools that make life easier, along with pieces I love or that hold special meaning. Together, they create a space where every corner feels personal and welcoming.
When I walk into my home, there’s always something that makes me smile—my velvet green sectional, a marble bird piece that sits on my bookshelves, or the Monstera plant I’ve somehow kept alive and growing for years. That’s the feeling I want to bring to every client I work with: a home that’s as functional as it is heartfelt.

I stumbled upon this mid-century modern marble bird at an antique store in Lebanon, IN. At first, I hesitated when I realized it was a napkin holder, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I’m so glad I went back to grab it before leaving! It may not be serving its original purpose, but I love how it looks on my bookshelf.
Looking Ahead
As I officially launch AT Home in Zionsville, I’m filled with excitement for the journey ahead. From helping others create spaces that feel uniquely theirs to building connections within this incredible community, I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me.
To everyone who has supported me along the way—thank you. Your encouragement means the world. Here’s to creating homes that inspire comfort, connection, and a touch of magic.
Best,
Angie
